My 5 Top Holiday Kitchen Tools

Everyone has favorite tools in the kitchen when it’s time to get cooking, right? And during this holiday season, you’ll most likely be cooking a lot more than usual. So, let me fill you in on a few of my faves so you’ll be prepared to wow your guests.

1. Herb Kitchen Shears by Wusthof
I think I bought these by mistake and boy, am I glad I did! These shears are great for cutting and sprinkling fresh herbs like dill on top of grilled salmon. Freshly cut herbs are the key to a beautiful presentation in a cinch. I’ll be honest though, these are a !%#$! to clean. Ha!

2. Mini Scale by Taylor
If you’re trying to stay on a diet or are trying to eat lighter, using a mini scale for measuring quantities is ideal and easy to use. It also comes in handy during holiday baking sessions.

3. Cutting Board by Epicurean
I have a non-slip cutting board in a slate color that I love. It’s crafted from an innovated wood fiber, which prevents any bacteria growth and cleans easily with soap and water. Holiday event styling tip: this board can also be used as a cheese platter because of its chic design.

4. Cheese Grater by Pylones
This fun and fashionable Parisian Belle grater is a perfect gift for brides-to-be or for chic chefs. It not only looks stylish, it also grates stylishly. This trés élegante grater est pour vous!

5. Wooden Grill Scraper by Feros
Some studies have stated that the wire-bristle type of grill scraper is not as safe as the wooden. Evidently, some of the wire bristles can break off and fall into your grilled creations. Not safe for the digestive tract! All you need to maintain this wooden scraper is some mineral oil and you’re off to the grilling races! If you’d like some holiday grilling recipes, Just Ask me!
