My Fave Boston Stops

As an adventure stylist, I’m always looking for new places to explore. Since Boston is one of my faves, I wanted to share some of my favorite places around the city.

Eataly - Bar seating at La Piazza

Great brick oven pizza and a fabulous Italian red wine selection. Get a bite to eat here, cruise around the marketplace and stop at the gelato bar for some espresso gelato to top off the evening! Eataly is located right near the Pru in the Back Bay. They also have outdoor seating when the weather is grand.

2. Select Oyster Bar

Superb oysters and an amazing white burgundy wine selection (my absolute wine of all time!). Try the Gloucester platter. It’s a ton of food, but you get to sample lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters and scallops. And don’t forget to order the avocado toast—a dollop of scallop on warm avocado toast is out of this world!

3. Exhale Spa

Try the Fusion Massage at this Back Bay spa. The women’s room amenities are plentiful and the “shhhh” room is meditative. After a full day of walking around, this massage will hit the spot! They also have yoga and cardio classes available.

4. HERMÈS

I finely splurged and bought myself the leather wraparound bracelet for my Apple Watch. I’ve been eyeing this for a long time and the HERMÈS store happened to be right next to Exhale spa. So, I popped in to check out the season’s silk twill scarves and saw the bracelets in the glass covered box. For me, this is a must have accessory including one of the HERMÈS scarves, of course!

5. Hotel Commonwealth

If you’re a Boston sports aficionado like me, and you enjoy watching Red Sox games at the historical Fenway Park, then this is the hotel for you. The hotel is literally in walking distance to Yawkey Way. It also has two great restaurants adjacent to the hotel. Go Sox!

6. Shadan Safavi Jewelry

While walking down Newbury Street I happened to fall upon a pop up store where this designer had fun and fashionable jewelry on display. I bought a very cool necklace that can be worn so many ways as it has a big circular loop to thread the chain through and make it look like a choker. It’s unique, beautiful and colorful! Plus, this simple piece works for day or evening.

Feel inspired to take a trip to Boston soon? I don’t blame you! As always, you can Just Ask me for packing tips, reservation ideas or any questions you have about the city. I’m happy to help you have a fun experience in Boston or anywhere else in the world!

Cheers!

P.S. Remember to drop by for a doughnut at Blackbird Doughnuts, too!
